Itinerary
Day One (10 day / 5 day) Collection from the airport by Elizabeth, Richard or Keith, travel to Bath and meeting your host teacher’s family for a warm English welcome and dinner.

Day Two (10 day / 5 day) Lessons followed by a guided walk to places of interest in Bath: the Royal Victoria park, Botanical Gardens and the Royal Crescent.

Day Three (10 day / 5 day) An English lesson followed by a bus journey to Bath and a visit to the historic Roman Baths situated in the city centre.

Day Four (10 day / 5 day) An introduction to the City of Bristol, this will be followed by a day trip to the city to explore its many sites of historical and cultural interest. (Free time for shopping if required).

Day Five (5 day) Return to the Airport or free time in Bath or Bristol as appropriate.
Day Five (10 day) A visit to one of Bath’s smallest museums ‘The Museum of Work at Bath’ to admire the preservation of a unique slice of English industrial heritage. Using a fun quiz you will obtain an amazing insight into the Victorian and Edwardian times. After dinner there will be traditional board games.

Day Six (10 day) Trip to Dyrham Park - a famous stately home, venue for the filming of “The Remains of the Day” starring Anthony Hopkins. Enjoy morning tea in its beautiful English gardens.

Day Seven (10 day) An English lesson in the morning and then free time to explore, shop or visit any of your favourite places in Bath or Bristol. An optional cookery lesson will be offered in the afternoon (traditional cakes, scones and biscuits).

Day Eight (10 day) Day visit to London; a chance to see some of the highlights of the world’s most vibrant and exciting city. An accompanied walking tour of the main sights of London including the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and the ‘London Eye’. Free time to shop in Oxford Street. An English supper completes the day before catching the coach back to Bath. (Students may at their own expense stay over-night in London and travel back the next day).

Day Nine (10 day) A free choice, either visit Bradford on Avon, a beautiful town just outside Bath or go shopping. In the afternoon there will be traditional ‘high tea’ with the teachers, awards, photographs and farewells.

Day Ten (10 day) Champagne breakfast and preparation for departure to airport.
